Berserk is an extremely violent, horrible and graphic manga which often is labelled as ‘too mature’ for the audience. The manga is not ideal for those who are easily scared or get upset. The manga is for the matured audience ready to read and appreciate the illustration and story regardless of the graphic nature of the manga.
Guts is known as the Black Swordsman, a legend of a warrior. He carries a huge sword with an iron hand, showcasing the scars of numerous battles and tortures. His skin is branded with an unholy symbol that attracts the dark forces towards him. But Guts is not a passive man and won’t accept his fate silently. He will cut through anything that cross him. Puck the elf, is a companion but more of an annoyance. His dark path stained with blood will only lead to either death or vengeance.
