Berserk is an extremely violent, horrible and graphic manga which often is labelled as ‘too mature’ for the audience. The manga is not ideal for those who are easily scared or get upset. The manga is for the matured audience ready to read and appreciate the illustration and story regardless of the graphic nature of the manga.
Guts has been in a better position in the kingdom of Midland, which he defended once as captain of his group ‘Band of the Hawks’. But Hawks were slaughtered and betrayed, and now Guts is captured and beat some repentance into him. But Guts is not easy to handle at all, when he manages to escape with the Holy Knight’s leader, Farnese as his hostage and the demons are drawn to Guts’ branding.
