Berserk is a fantasy manga written by Kentaro Miura. The story features a lone mercenary who has seen everything from pain, cruelty, torture and violence. His gigantic black sword made him known throughout as the Black Swordsman. How he became Guts and what happened with him in past is what the manga is all about.
In order to treat the mad Casca, Guts and the group fights against the Elf Island’s magical defence and they are able to reach Elfhelm, where the ruler of Elfhelm opens the corridor of Dreams, and projecting forbidden wasteland in Casca’s mind in form of Schierke and Farnese. Some true horrors, more hideous than anything one can imagine, are yet to be unleashed upon the world.
