Ichigo Kurasaki has always been capable of seeing ghosts. His family is attacked by a hollow, a lost spirit. Ichigo becomes a soul reaper and dedicates his whole life to protect the innocent and assisting the lost souls in finding their way back to peace.
Ichigo’s life is completely changed when he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a soul reaper and one of the members of the Soul Society, whose job is to help people from evil spirits. While fighting a hollow, Rukia lends some of her power to Ichigo but Ichigo absorbs all of her power becoming a full time reaper himself, Ichigo quickly learns about the world he is about to work in.
