Ichigo Kurasaki has always been capable of seeing ghosts. His family is attacked by a hollow, a lost spirit. Ichigo becomes a soul reaper and dedicates his whole life to protect the innocent and assisting the lost souls in finding their way back to peace.
Rukia Kuchiki is the person responsible for making Ichigo a soul reaper by transferring all of her power and the Soul Society is quite displeased with that, to normalize the situation the Soul Society sends two of the strongest agents to take care of the situation: which is taking power’s back from Ichigo.
