Demon Slayer is set in Taisho-era Japan where kind hearted Tanjiro makes a living by selling charcol in nearby towns, but one day his life is turned upside down as his entire family is killed except his sister who becomes a demon. Tanjiro then becomes a demon slayer and pursues a journey to turn his sister back to normal.
During the final selection of demon slayer corps, Tanjiro encounters a weird figured demon and Tanjiro defeats the demon using the techniques taught by his master. Tanjiro’s search for the demon leads him to the sudden disappearance of young girls in a nearby town.
