Tanjiro is a boy living with his family and earns a livelihood by selling charcoals in the city in Taisho-era Japan. Demons are creatures who devours humans and Tanjiro’s family is killed by a demon. His sister Nezuko is the only one to survive but she is turned into a demon, but his brother refuses to abandon her and takes an oath to turn her sister back into a human by enlisting in Demon Slayer Corps in order to fight demons and learn the truth about them.
Tanjiro and Nezuko encounter two powerful demons who fight with magical weapons. Even Tamayo and Yushiro are not powerful enough to defeat these demons who claim to belong to the Twelve Kizuki that directly serve Kibutsuji, the demon king behind all of Tanjiro’s suffering! But if these demons can be defeated, what can they disclose about the demon king Kibutsuji Muzan?
