Tanjiro is a boy living with his family and earns a livelihood by selling charcoals in the city in Taisho-era Japan. Demons are creatures who devours humans and Tanjiro’s family is killed by a demon. His sister Nezuko is the only one to survive but she is turned into a demon, but his brother refuses to abandon her and takes an oath to turn her sister back into a human by enlisting in Demon Slayer Corps in order to fight demons and learn the truth about them.
While under the care of the Demon Slayer Corps, those who fought the spider demons have recovered. They have now learned a new and powerful technique—Total Concentration, which will become useful and needy in upcoming battles against more formidable demons. But the next mission will take them to a mysterious train where the emon uses dreams to devour people.
