Tanjiro is a boy living with his family and earns a livelihood by selling charcoals in the city in Taisho-era Japan. Demons are creature that devours humans and Tanjiro’s family is killed by a demon. His sister Nezuko is the only one to survive but she is turned into a demon, but his brother refuses to abandon her and takes an oath to turn her sister back into a human by enlisting in Demon Slayer Corps in order to fight demons and learn the truth about them.
Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who is looking to prepare him for the upcoming tough battles and to become a Hashira, but the training to become a hashira is not easy,mit is intense and demandingand the approval of Himejima is not easy to get either. Tanjiro won’t give up. Demon king Muzan continues the search for Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.
